His work “Departures” focuses on the concept of “home” that has been revitalized as a contemporary issue due to its recently adopted meanings. The emergence of immigration, whether forced or voluntary, both across national borders and within a given country or city, has outstretched the earlier connotations of "home" as "settled" and "stable". “Departures” is a reflection on “home” which is a frail space in flux.
